What it is
HouseHoot turns any group into a party. Everyone plays on their own phone, in the same room or across the world, joining a single game with one shared four-letter code. There is nothing to install and no account required to start. Just open the link, create a room, and share the code.
The games
Five distinct games, each with a family-safe mode and a cheekier adult mode:
- Nightfall: social deduction (Mafia / Werewolf). Hidden roles, secret night-time eliminations, and a town trying to find the imposters.
- Spotlight: Most Likely To, Would You Rather and Never Have I Ever. Vote on each other and read the room.
- Baloney: bluffing trivia. Invent a convincing fake answer, then try to spot the real one.
- Trivia: a fast multiple-choice quiz where speed earns points.
- Hot Takes: spicy this-or-that questions and rankings. Score by matching the crowd.
How it works
One person taps Create a room, picks family-safe or adult mode, and shares the four-letter code (or the invite link). Friends join from any phone, tablet or laptop, the host picks a game, and you are playing in seconds. Cast the room to a TV for a shared big-screen view.

Trivia and Hot Takes are powered by AI that writes new questions on demand, and signed-in players never see the same question twice, so game night stays fresh no matter how often you play. Sign in with Google (optional) to save your wins and history.
