What it is
HouseHoot turns any group into game night. Everyone plays on their own phone, in the same room or across the world, joining a single game with one shared four-letter code. From party classics to a real time 8-ball duel, there is nothing to install and no account required to start. Just open the link, create a room, and share the code.
The games
Every game has a family-safe mode and a cheekier adult mode, sorted by who you're playing with:
Solve it your way · A complete game for one, with room for friends.
- Last Alibi: Story-driven detective cases: sweep the scene, crack evidence puzzles, press testimony to break alibis, and land your accusation before the case goes cold.
- Odd One Out: Five things flash up. One doesn't belong. Tap the misfit before the clock, speed and streaks are points.
- Word Duel: The word-guessing race. Same hidden word for everyone - solve it in fewer guesses and faster than the room, watching their color grids climb.
Just the two of you · Date night or a one-on-one face-off.
- Ballpark: Wild 'what % of people…' questions. Everyone guesses a number. Closest to our ballpark figure takes the round.
- Flock: How well do you really know each other? One player is the subject. Everyone predicts their answer. Match to score.
- Truth or Dare: The classic night-starter, reinvented. Take turns picking truth or dare with fresh prompts every time.
- 8-Ball Pool: Real-time 8-ball with true physics. Take turns lining up your shot. Sink your group, then drop the 8 to win.
- Memory: Flip tiles two at a time and remember what is where. Match the most pairs to win, and a match keeps your turn.
- Carrom: Realistic online carrom. Flick your striker to pocket your coins, cover the red queen, and clear the board before your opponent.
Small group · Best with a handful of friends.
- Baloney: A fact with the answer hidden. Write a convincing lie, then spot the truth in the lineup.
- Punchline: Get a ridiculous prompt, write the funniest answer, then go head-to-head as the room votes for the winner.

How it works
One person taps Create a room, picks family-safe or adult mode, and shares the four-letter code (or the invite link). Friends join from any phone, tablet or laptop, the host picks a game, and you are playing in seconds. Cast the room to a TV for a shared big-screen view.
